I only endorse these programs because they have earned my trust by paying me!!!
NFO MySurvey- A fabulous survey site! I have been a member of MySurvey for about 4 years. Their surveys have paid me anywhere from $0.10 to $10 depending on the length and complexity of the questionnaire. You can redeem for cash, great prizes, raffle tickets, or charity. I have been paid over $60 cash so far, and just redeemed another $70. I can honestly say that MySurvey is one of my favorite survey sites! You will be paid for your time and effort, plus each day you sign into your account you earn an entry into the $10,000 sweepstakes. Click the title above and sign up now!
MyPoints - An awesome rewards program where you can earn "points" that are redeemed for gift certificates to your favorite restaurants and retailers. I have been a member since August 2000 and have accrued over 36,000 points!!! You will earn a FREE gift certificate in no time. :o)
Pinecone Research is by far my best paying survey site! They pay $5 for each and every survey you qualify for - I usually make anywhere from $5 to $15 each month with them. They only accept new sign-ups through specific links found in banner ads scattered on the internet, however they sometimes allow current members to refer people fitting specific demographics which they need. If this occurs I will post it here. Good Luck!
My Favorite Places to Learn How To Budget My Money:
Finding out where your money is going now and where it needs to go from now on!
Debt-Proof Living- Stop living paycheck to paycheck. Learn how to step away from the financial edge and find freedom through Mary Hunt's wonderful system! If you are a religious person you will particularly appreciate Mary's thoughts on tithing as an integral part of her plan.
I have been a member of this site for over 5 years. Mary's site is one of the nicest around - tons of great advice, helpful financial calculators you will find no place else, plus a discussion forum where members help members.
Always polite and friendly!
Saving Advice - Here is a website chock full of incredible information on saving money that covers every aspect of our lives. They have a friendly, active Financial FORUM to discuss personal finance, banking, investments, and frugality among other topics. Tons of insightful, friendly opinions on a broad range of financial topics. I am fairly new to this site, and I am amazed at the amount of great information it contains. It is going to take me quite awhile to read it all!
You work hard for your money...Make your money work harder for you!
ING DIRECT - Great online bank! Currently paying one of the highest interest rates on their savings accounts. Easy to set up and excellent customer service. ING makes saving money simple!
NO minimums, NO fees & FDIC Insured!
I have been a customer for over 4 years and have been very satisfied. Accounts are very easy to set up and maintain - your ING savings links directly to your present checking account so transfers are quick and easy. Transactions are usually complete within 1-3 business days. The perfect place to stash your emergency fund! Open your account today!
Dentalplans.com - Choose from over 100,000 participating dentists! If you are one of the thousands of citizens without dental insurance, you definitely need to check out DentalPlans.com. They offer quick, friendly service, over 30 different plans to choose from, very reasonable pricing and right now they are offering 3 additional months free to all new members - so you can get 15 months for the price of 12! They have dentists in many specialties including pediatric dentistry, orthodontics (braces), periodontics (disease), endodontics (implants), and oral surgery.
I live in a small town and I was happily surprised to find over 20 plans in my area! They also showed me over 20 dentists within 20 miles of my home who participate in their programs. This really is a great way to be able to visit the dentist and dental hygienist as often as your good health demands without spending a fortune.
NOTE: I just read an article at Bankrate.com which warns to be cautious of discount dental plans that do not show you the details of their plans before you purchase them. This same Bankrate article recommends DentalPlans.com because "you can type in your ZIP code and see a list of dentists in your area who participate in each discount plan, as well as the average discounted cost of each procedure".
My Favorite Places to Give Back:
Yes, this page is about how to save money, but I believe it is just as important to give a portion of what you have to those who are even more needy. It makes you feel good and you will also stop to think about how your situation is not as bleak as you may have felt previously!
Modest Needs- Small change can make a world of difference! This is a wonderful charity website that I have been a supporter of for 3 years. It is based on the idea that many people who are middle-class are not eligible for donations or charity, so this site offers them a place to find a helping hand. Check it out!
Any donations you make toward Hurricane Katrina & Rita rebuilding efforts are currently being TRIPLED through special grants valid until December 31, 2006! This is a great way to get your charity money to go farther faster!!!
America's Second Harvest - Learn how we can end hunger in America. Second Harvest supports locations and programs throughout the USA. No one needs to go hungry in our great country if we all lend a hand.
